Decoupage Tray & Coaster set

Hello Crafters,

I am sharing a decoupage tray which i have created using Little Birdie chalk paint & texture paste, decor varnish, & Nakshathra Designz Decoupage Paper. As soon as i laid my eyes on this beautiful paper i knew that i wanted to use it in decorating my tray. So lets go through step by step on how to do a decoupage on a tray & make it heat and water resistant.

Measure the inner area of the tray & accordingly cut the decoupage paper with the help of paper trimmer. (can also cut with cutting mat, ruler & cutter)

Once the paper is cut to the appropriate size, paint the sides and the inner area of the tray with Little Birdie Chalk Paint.

Paste decoupage paper post applying modpodge on the tray and give it a coat of modopodge on top to seal it nicely.
Once the top coat of modpodge is dry, i applied a coat of  Little Birdie Decor Varnish to secure the whole project. 
I also applied resin to make it heat and water resistant.

and A Beautiful Tray is ready to Serve!
