Mixed Media Altered Bottle
Hello Crafty Peeps,
Showcasing my beautiful mixed media creation on an old glass bottle. Please read through the steps below to DIY your glass bottle and give wings to your creations.
I took an empty glass bottle and pasted tissue paper with the help of modpodge on the bottle and gave it a textured design.
I wrapped a piece of cardboard around the bottle and some tissue to give a different look. I applied white gesso all over the bottle just to put everything together.
Painted the bottle with Little birdie Chalk Paints & Metallic paint.
Next, I drew a butterfly on a cardboard and fussy cut it. With the help from TCW script stencil & Little Birdie Mixed media Paste gave some texture on the butterfly and paint it with chalk paint similar to bottle.
Glued down spoon, butterfly on to the bottle & also randomly added some handmade art stones.
Covered the top of bottle with some cheese cloth (which was also painted with Little Birdie Chalk paints, Metallic paints), handmade flowers & leaves.
After it dried I highlighted this bottle using Gesso & finally sealed this bottle using Little Birdie Varnish.
